FREE registration unlocks Dun & Bradstreet revenue estimates on private companies. Dunn & Bradstreet is swiftly losing its reputation for quality data in that regard, but it's still a good start for evaluating a company.

This site does a wonderful job of mapping relationships - if your prospect is in their database. For example, there is a wonderful map on David Rockefeller. Why? Because users are allowed to create maps too!

(Forbes:2004) This article is a nice "espresso" version of corporate philanthropy. It throws about the terms, the basic controversies and history, and even includes a slide show with examples of what various companies are doing.

(Wharton:Jan 2007) This article requires a free registration on the Knowledge at Wharton website. It offers some insight into which industries might be more inclined to philanthropy. By omission it also suggest some industries that might benefit from more employee-oriented philanthropy.
